Dazed and Confused
Linklater portrays the last day of school for a bunch of high schoolers in 1976: a party running on beer, cannabis and hazing, a one off day both for the ones leaving and for the freshmen coming in. It talks about how young people felt back then and about a freedom that is drifting a little. It did not do well when it came out (it was a commercial flop), but over the years it has picked up recognition until it became a cult film.
The Wizard of Oz
Truth be told, this film is not about cannabis, but it has ended up becoming a classic among smokers thanks to its psychedelic world. Dorothy dreams of travelling somewhere over the rainbow and a tornado carries her and her little dog off to the world of Oz, a colourful place that could easily be the one we see when the THC starts to kick in. A must in the history of cinema and in stoner culture.

The only one we already recommended in the previous article and are repeating today, because it is a cult piece you might still not have seen. Ice Cube has been fired from his job over an alleged theft, so his only plan for Friday is killing the hours on the porch with his mate Smokey, who does nothing but smoke the weed he was supposed to be selling. An absolute classic on the level of How High or Ali G that not many people know about. Give it a shot and you will not regret it.
Soul Plane
Nashawn Wade wins a million dollar lawsuit against an airline that treated him like dirt, and with the money he comes up with the ridiculous idea of creating the airline of his dreams: funky music, good vibes and the most extravagant pilot going. The arrival of a family on the plane sets off one surreal situation after another. The cast is unreal: Method Man and Snoop Dogg give the film all of its charisma.
